On Saturday I went to Jenny Fax Mikiosakabe’s S/S 2016 fashion show invited by PR01 at Laforet Museum, Tokyo. I have always loved Jenny Fax but this is the first time I get to see the show myself. The brand’s style always reminds me of the dark side of cuteness. With their 80’s cabbage dolls signature patterns, getting to see the show myself made me so excited cause they also have the cabbage dolls mini show during that. This season though, they remain the cute and playful tone in a way that goes slightly darker than before. And the reason I think so might be because I get to see the show live, with strippers on the right of the runway and four kids jumping up and down on the left, all that makes me feel like I am watching a dark comedy on stage. I love how they play with paint textures on skins and on the fabrics as well as how they still keep their signature dreamy colors and embroideries in many of their looks while expressing out the perfect touch of rebellious youth through the kiss of 80s. These are my favorite looks from the show:

The Fur and the Glitters

BUG_4955BUG_4969BUG_4972BUG_4927BUG_4983_Every once in a while I would pick out a girly skirt from my wardrobe and go completely girly for a day. This time I wore an oversized mid-length tie up blouse from American Apparel and style the collar with Lazy Oaf‘s Rose Collar Pins. The skirt is from 2% Tokyo, it came in a tone of blue that goes really well with the rest of the pastel accessories in this look which are the fluffy lilac bag from and my new mint green silver gilttery shoes from Croon, oxford shoes is my current love, and Croon just have so many in loveliest colors that I feel like I’d definitely go for another pair, soon!

Bangkok Elle Fashion Week F/W 2015: Kloset

BUG_0616_ BUG_0653_BUG_0712BUG_0701BUG_0708_ BUG_0746_On Sunday at Elle Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015 I decided to embrace my love for 80s toys and go for a full pastel look with a little hint of the 70s coming from my overalls pattern matching with the shoes.
Cake pouch: Fred Flare (I bought it years ago when still exist, I miss that site)
Rainbow overalls: Toey Jarinporn x Playhound
Jelly heels: JuJu Footwear
Earrings and choker: Vintage Polly Pockets (These were my childhood favorites! 80s/90s toys have the most adorable designs!)

These are the photos I took during the show and again some backstage exclusive shots taken by BUG ON STREET. Kloset F/W2015’s collection is called “Written All Over Your Face”. It was inspired by Amy Winehouse, with all the hairstyles and the songs they used in the show. I was in love not just because they reflects one of my favorite artist in the most lovable way but they also have the greatest textile/embroidery designs this season!

Pastel Boy

When you say boyish look, it doesn’t always have to be dull and monochrome all the time. A little pastel can be fun too! Newsboy caps I wore on my outfit to Chiangmai months ago doesn’t look as boyish as it is now with the fringe I’m having. I guess I’m starting to enjoy my new haircut now! I match the cap with my black Toms shoes again cause the material and the color is pretty much the same. I added the pastel into the look with the tee I chose to wear. Though the pattern seems more like a men’s t-shirt, the screening of one of my favorite characters ‘Barbapapa’ (made it now one of the most-loved items in my wardrobe!) matches my pink Vivienne Westwood watch quite perfectly.

Pastel 90s Week

I think I’m too inspired by the 90s this week, probably because of the playlist I made and the 90s party by Trasher Bangkok last night. I wanted to try the grunge look as well wearing black and all but I feel like pastel is my kind of 90s.
THURSDAY LOOK: The kind of 90s you can wear on weekdays. Keep your clothing simple and play more with the accessories. Who said 90s look aren’t formal enough to wear to work?

SATURDAY MORNING LOOK: You can grab your favorite pair of sunglasses that goes with your top, or steal your mother’s 90s shades. Never throw your old stuff away especially your mother’s treasures! Going through her old clothes and accessories are much better than visiting your favorite vintage clothing store. My mom gave me her Ray-Ban W2834 ages ago and I used to think that it wasn’t fashionable at the time so I kept it away in the cupboard, now it’s my new favorite item♡

My red and pink attempt two, Nude lip colors are my current obsession, Kinda Sexy by Mac Cosmetic is the one I’m wearing in this look.

SATURDAY NIGHT LOOK: Okay, maybe you can’t wear this hairstyle to the supermarket at noon but you can definitely do it after 6PM. There are loads and loads of 90s hairstyle you can create, I was just inspired by one of my childhood favorite Thai singer back in the day. I personally loveeeee the combination of Pink Overalls and White Sport bra♡
